The HR2055 that was put into law in December 2011. The Health and Human Services portion of HR2055 received $69.7 billion. Of this money the Committee on Appropriations disbursed 10.7 % to Health Resources and Services Administration, 11.4% to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2.3 % to the National Institutes of Health, 19.9 % for Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration, 17.9 % to Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, 2.4 %Administration for Children and Families, and 5.1 % for Abstinence Education (House Appropriations Committee, 2011).
